Any student enrolled in an Orchestra class at BHS can receive Honors Credit by turning in the application by the deadline, and completing all of the requirements.

Honors Credit Applications are due by September 26.

Honors Credit Requirements

• September 26 ** Honor Credit Application Due
• Prepare all of the TMEA All Region audition music during the fall.
• October 18** Audition for All Region Orchestra unless waived by director.  Students are responsible for meeting the entrance and eligibility requirement for this contest.  If you are selected for the All-Region Orchestra, you must be responsible and represent your school at the clinic and concert in January.  Failure to perform/participate once selected will result in a lowering of the participation grade for Honor Orchestra Credit.
• December 12 ** Completed research paper deadline.
• December 12 ** Last day to turn in two professional concert reports for the Fall semester.
• April 25**RISD Chamber Music Festival.  You must prepare and perform a solo
  or ensemble at this contest.
• May 12**Spring research paper deadline and two professional concert reports for Spring semester.
